Sunday, 21 August - Medal 

Unfortunately due to bad weather Saturdays captains cup 2 day competition was cancelled. Sundays competition was a standard Medal. 

Wayne Batteye was the winner of the with a nett 71 which went down to the last 6 holes, on count back. In 2nd place was Lewis Hinds. 

Sheldon Owen and Barbry Wanless took the 3rd and 4th positions. 

Congratulations to the Quartz Team 

The Quartz team made it to the final of the cup where they played Morriston at Neath Golf Club. 

Following the success of getting promoted to the 1st division last week, the Pennard boys faced a tough test playing a Morriston team who are a strong 1 division quartz team themselves. 

The first three groups brilliantly won their 1st three matches, securing vicotry for Pennard Golf Club.

Good Luck Fallon & Thomas 

Most of you will not know them but little Fallon and Thomas are apart of Pennard's Junior academy having lesson with Nicola Stroud. 

The two managed to qualify to represent Pennard at St Andrews! 

They did this by playing in the Wee Wonders event where the top 3 qualify for the final which takes place at the home of golf. 

Congratulation Boys, You've made Pennard Proud.
