Turkey Trot 4

Once again the field was full for the 4th Turkey Trott. Leighton Pritchard was the winner of division 3 shooting the lowest score of all divisions (40 points). Steve V Thomas was victorious in division 2 playing to his handicap, and Dave Beynon won the turkey in division 1 going down to the back 6 on count back shooting a score of 39 points.

Congratulations gentleman, well played. 

Captain Pro Challenge 2016/17

This year's Captain Pro challenge is now available for booking. See if you can take on and beat myself and Tim Jones! 

But you better bring your 'A-Game'. 

We will treat you to a breakfast at 9am before you play, £10 per person. 

It will be a 9.45am start. 

The booking sheet is on the winter league notice bored in the men's locker room.

Prize Giving Night 

Excellent night last Thursday with prize giving! Congratulations to all who won a prize over the past year. the Pro Shop team would like to personally thank the members who support the competitions which are on every week. We would also like to thank competition secretary Roger Essex, Ladies competition secretary Helen O'Malley and the members who volunteer for their hard work setting and tying up the competitions. 

Last but not least we would like to thank Erica and Sally in the office for doing the competition bookings and start sheets, they also have to put up with us in the shop as well!

  

Pennard Golf Studio 

The studio is now available for booking from the 31st October - 13th November to play the first 9 holes of Turnberry golf Club. Please note the first tee time is 8.00 am, and the last tee off is at 19.00 pm 

Mon - Thurs and 17:00 pm Fri - Sun. 

I would strongly advise you try to book your tee slots in advance in the proshop to ensure you get the best time to suit you. 

Winter Order Of Merit - Individual Stableford 

9 holes every fortnight, £5 entry - 10 courses to be played - Two hour slots to be booked - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

Two, Three and Four balls. 

Order of merit points to be awarded after each round. Prizes to be awarded after each round for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 

1st - Meal for two in the new Pobbles restaurant 
2nd - 40 Minute Lesson in the Simulator 
3rd - 1/2 use of the Simulator for practice 

Top 8 of the order of merit will go into a knock-out stage for the Pennard Golf studio Winter League Trophy.
